Call in your harvest through diligence

BIBLE STUDY
THEME- CALL IN YOUR HARVEST
LESSON 1- THROUGH DILIGENCE
MAIN TEXT- PROVERBS 10:4-5
INTRODUCTION
The year of bumper harvest is also approved by God but if God sends the rain and there is no work done on the land he has provided then there will not be a harvest. When a moving train heads to your destination, you must make effort to jump into the train to reach your desired destination. Diligence is showing perseverance at whatever is undertaken. It is characterized by steady, earnest and energetic work. Diligence in the Biblical sense is a persevering application of the Word of God. We should also show diligence physically, mentally and spiritually-Phil1:27, Prov. 19:24, 21:24, Prov. 24:30-34, Rom 7:23, 12:2, Matt. 22:37.
THE THREE D’S OF DILIGENCE:
a) DECISION- It means firmness of conviction or the act of deciding or the choice or judgment over a matter. There should be the decision to succeed in the heart of the Christian and there should also be the firm conviction concerning the work done (seed sowing, offering etc) that will yield the bumper harvest. The choice you make has a lot to say about your harvest. Abraham had the promise of bumper harvest- Gen 12:2-3 but he made a choice- Gen 16:1-5. Luke 15:18-19
b) DETERMINATION – To run or work with a will, decision and resolution against all odds. Determination guarantees focus and results- Psalm 5:3, Micah 7:7 . There must be a willful act beyond the decision stage - Prov 13:4, Luke 15:20-23. When a man is determined, He will definitely eat in time of famine- Prov  6 :6-8. The oceans are made up of drops of water, don’t despise your little beginning –Zec 4:10 , Job 8:7, Eccl 7:8. Keep sowing good seeds; it will grow from an orchard to a forest
c) DISCIPLINE-  Prov 6:9, Heb 12:11, Prov 6:23
Not only does diligence mean “faithful, steady, consistent work at something you refuse to quit doing,” it requires another d-word: discipline. Beyond determination comes discipline. It takes discipline to keep sowing seeds when it looks as if it will not work. Joseph received the promise of bumper harvest but discipline took him to the throne – Gen 39:12, Gen 41:40-41.Anointing is divine or supernatural ability or enablement but character or discipline fashions it. Discipline gives the understanding of seasons- a time to sow, weed, water, wait and harvest and in all the seasons you must be diligent to have a bumper harvest- 2Tim 1:7, Prov 25:28

THE PROFITS OF DILIGENCE
1.) Possession of Riches- Prov 10:4
2.) Possession of Authority- Prov 12:24
 3) Fulfillment and bumper harvest – Prov 13:4. Proverbs 21:5
 4) Possession of favor- Proverbs 11:27
We must be positioned to receive His promises! Be diligent, and be rewarded! God bless you! God wants to reward you for being diligent. However, we can’t plead promises and break God’s principles. If we do the Word of God, it will work for us.

Abundance inspite of austerity

TOPIC- ABUNDANCE INSPITE OF AUSTERITY LESSON 2- PRINCIPLES OF ABUNDANCE 2 TEXT- 2 COR 9:10, 2 SAM 24:23-24, GEN 26 The blessings of God will cover our lives when we sow throughout all areas of our lives. If we sow in the church, home, work, with friends and strangers we will reap in all those areas. Wherever the waters of God are flowing fro us, we should sow. If we spend our days giving, we will spend our days reaping. A ) THE SEED SOWN MULTIPLIES – LUKE 6:38, JOHN 6:9-14 There is a common saying “a bird at hand is worth two in the bush”, but in spiritual law, a seed released is worth hundreds yet to be received. The power in your seed to multiply is activated by its release. Your seed is what you sow, your faith is why it multiplies. Our seed multiplies at varying levels, but the lowest level the Word promises is thirty fold – Matthew 13:8. What conditions can affect the level of multiplication of our seed? I) Attitude – 2 Cor 9:7, Acts 5:1-10 II) Obedience to God’s word – Is...

Destiny Fulfilment

THEME: DESTINY FULFILMENT LESSON 1: INTRODUCTION TEXT: ISAIAH 60:11 Our success in life is tied to the fulfilment of our divine destiny. Destiny could mean the things that will happen in the future or the force that controls what happens in the future and is outside human control. We should view destiny as something that is discoverable and not decisive. God decides our destiny and we discover it. Proverb 16:9, Proverb 20:24. This year God has assured us of destiny fulfilment. 1) Every man has a destiny: Exodus 2:1-10, Exodus 3:9-12 There is a divine purpose behind every divine destiny. Nobody is in the world as a mistake - we are divinely sent, placed and equipped- Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 37:23. One of the major role of God in a man's life is to ordain his destiny in him and guide him to accomplish it. 2) Man's Role in destiny fulfilment: Genesis 1:27-31, Genesis 3:14-18 Remember that God made man to be a co-creator. To the Christian man, he is the visible and tangible ...

The relevance of the Christian Youth

THE RELEVANCE OF THE CHRISTIAN YOUTH IN THE 21ST CENTURY TEXT- 1 TIMOTHY 4:12-13 “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine”. These were the words of Apostle Paul to timothy; the great apostle used this to warn every youth that no man is lawfully permitted to useless their lives or to take undue advantage of their living. Youths should know their God and serve the one true God in their youthful age. Every Christian youth must rise and shine because the earth has been given to God‘s people to bring down the Kingdom of God to this world and for the propagation of the gospel to places where Jesus Christ is not yet glorified. God has bestowed a lot abilities and privileges to the youths; the youths are much closer to development and the trend of things in the society so this gives them an edge in knowing the things...
